Special Edition Library Cards –  Instructions for Circulation

1. Special edition library cards are kept in the Circ hanging file.
2. Each special edition library card is available for a minimum donation of $5.00 to the ACPL Foundation.
   • So, if a patron wants two special edition cards, the minimum donation is $10.00 and so on.
   • Patrons can provide more than a $5.00 donation for the library card.
3. Patrons donating with CASH or CHECK:
   • Write down the patron’s name and new library card number on the spreadsheet in the Circ hanging file.
   • Checks should be made out to ACPLF or Albany County Public Library Foundation or ACPL Foundation.
   • Run cash or the check through the normal cash register, using the blue Foundation library cards button.
   • Make sure to put the receipt in the normal place for Vicki.
4. Patrons donating through PAYPAL:
   • Use the online form below for PayPal transactions. (DO NOT use the library’s PayPal to run these transactions.)
   • You’ll input how many cards the patron wants in the Special Edition Library Card quantity line.
   • If the patron provides an additional donation, put this number in the Additional Donation quantity line.
   • Once you input the form, press Submit & Donate.
   • This will take you to the PayPal transaction area.
   • Press the grey box below the main area marked “Donate with debit or credit card.”
   • Fill in the transaction fields and press submit.
